Onyx's fight for his life!!

Hi, my name is Amelia and on thursday, I decided to adopt Onyx into my family. He was rehomed from a person who had neglected to get him vaccinated, and on saturday night began to show signs of not feeling well. Due to a mutated strain of Parvo from the north that does not show up on current tests, it is not confirmed as Parvo but all of his symptoms seem to point to that.

Monday was scary, but from just one day of hospitilization, he started to drink water again. Tonight when I picked him up from the hospital, he decided that he wanted to walk up the three flights of stairs instead of being carried. Even with these accomplishments, he is still in danger.

My Onyx has shown how smart and stubborn he is, even weak from fighting for his life.
