Help Onyx Replace Her Stolen Car

Hi Friends and Family!

We're reaching out to our community to help support our dear friend Onyx. She is a master gardener, landscaper, permaculturalist and general caretaker of the land here in New Mexico, as well as a beloved friend and musician. A few weeks ago her car was stolen while she was working on the property of one of her clients. She found the car three days later only to watch it be driven away again (by the folx sleeping in it) with 4 police cars and 6 cops watching - due to the ordinance of "no pursuit of stolen property in residential areas!"

This was an extra hard blow to Onyx since she has only started to work again in the past two years after the passing of her wife Lili. She has been slowly building her funds to be able to buy a reliable vehicle for both work and life. Of course selling her old car had been a big part of the funds she planned to use to buy a "new to her" car and now she has no car to sell and no insurance $$ either. Onyx lives off grid and must travel daily to clients properties. She also lost hundreds of dollars worth of gardening tools and supplies that were in the car at the time it was stolen.

The theft of her car has caused monetary and work setbacks and she really needs our community to come through for her with help and support to overcome these challenges.
