Oona’s Veterinary Care & Surgery

Hi! My name Sam and my partner’s name is Taylor. We are raising money to help our sweet, rambunctious baby survive emergency surgery to save her intestines.

We rescued Oona from Hurricane Ida as a kitten two years ago. She has been through so much in her short life, and for a presently unknown reason, her intestines are dying. She needs surgery to have the dead intestines removed.

We have spent $4000 in diagnostic imaging, IV fluids, anti-vomiting medication, and emergency vet fees this week. We are anticipating another $4000-$6000 in surgical costs.

I don’t know if I’ve put enough good karma out into the world to warrant asking my friends and family to help us out, but we need it in order to keep our sweet kitten earthside with us.
