OOST • Call on Community

In April 2016 we started OOST. Four years later we hold a special place in the local community, largely thanks to everyone who has worked or danced with us. This special place is now under direct threat.

OOST is a go-to place for electronic music lovers, international students new in town, the queer community and local artists. We work with all these people to create a special spot in the heart of the city. An inspiring safe haven and a hotbed for artists. 

Due to COVID-19 our doors have been shut since March. The loss of income and the ongoing expenses are threatening the existence of OOST at this very moment. To come out on top we need your support, as much as it pains us to ask. That’s why we take part in the Local Legends crowdfunder. This initiative has been created to help out those venues which have to remain closed, yet don’t receive additional government support. Venues like OOST. It makes it easy for visitors and friends, city inhabitants and companies alike to help these venues. Locals supporting locals. 

The money this crowdfunder brings us will be used to keep us afloat. It will be put towards covering our fixed expenses for the time we remain closed. In turn we promise to continue working towards the best possible OOST experience, for when we can welcome you again. So we can have an even bigger positive impact on the city and its locals in the future.

We have designed a special sweater for our crowdfunding campaign. By donating €80 or more you can apply for a sweater. We will then contact you about the size and shipping . The sweaters will be ordered on demand and will take about four weeks to manufacture.
