Op. Husky ITALY Tour-42 FD Rep

The Canadian artillery is conducting a Op Husky 75th Anniversary commemoration battlefield tour/visits during the November 2 to 12 time frame.
Participants are attending in a civilian/private capacity and thus are responsible for their own funding. All arty units, including reserve arty units, were strongly encouraged to have a representative on this tour. Bdr Rigo volunteered to attend/represent 42 Fd (L&R Scot).
The support is to assist the volunteer Bdr Rigo with expenses of airfare and registration for the event as well as miscellaneous expenses.
This trip will be a learning experience for an active serving member of the 42 Field Regiment as he visits the battle sites of the Italian Campaign and witnesses the contribution of the Canadian Artillery and of past members of his regiment to this campaign.
