Hi all,

my name is Jan and I am homeless in Rotterdam, The Netherlands.

Together with my dog named Io I wanted to look for a job in The Netherlands making cheese.

Due to an incident with my dog I need to wait upon his release from the local authorities.

I got a job in Luxemburg on the 23rd of September 2023, 1 hour before my train left from Rotterdam Central, the accident happened and we got arrested. I now also have a job option in Germany, but my dog is my all. My dog Io is my working dog, I live with him 24/7, he helps on the farm pushing the cows forward, keeping the wolves and bears on distance.

At this moment I don't know where my dog Io is.The case will go to court on the 8th of January 2024.

Your contribution will make a significant difference in helping getting my dog free. I would use the money to pay a lawyer. The funds raised will also be used to secure temporary shelter, replace essential items, and support my immediate needs to work towards rebuilding our lives.
