Open a bike hub in York city centre

Have you ever been riding around town and got a puncture, or returned to your locked bike and found it gone?

A mission of mine for 3 or 4 years has been to change that, to open a secure bike parking hub in the middle of town, but it's really expensive! The council have refused to help and the "Business Improvement District" have done everything they can to ban bikes anywhere near town.

Thousands of people working in shops, restaurants, hotels and bars rely on bikes to get to work, yet there are no bike shops actually in town if you need one. Let's change that!!

This old Costa Coffee has been offered short term and very cheap, so let's bring something fresh to York, especially if you have an ebike that you can't recharge before you go back

home.
