Open reduction finger reconstruction surgery

My name is Shirley, and I'm a phlebotomist by profession. I love my job and the fact that I get to save lives everyday, with the blood I draw. My hands are very important to me and what I do.

The other day, I was taking my dogs out, and the puppy took off after the geese. She ripped the leash out of my hand so hard that my ring finger broke.

The break is so bad, that surgery and physical therapy are recommended for a workable recovery.

I really don't want to risk it not healing properly by not having the surgery, that would mean, I would be putting my career on the line. I truly love the ability to save lives every day.

I can swing the cost of the surgery, but barely. It is going to wipe us out financially for a short time.
