Heidi’s ❤️ Help

It’s hard for me to write this as its very difficult for me to ask for help, let alone accept it but I’m in a position medically where I have no choice. 

I am in need of open heart surgery to replace my aortic valve with Sentara’s Cardiothoracic team.  The surgeon wants to do the surgery ASAP but understands my financial position. My health insurance will coverage the surgery itself. The problem is I will be out of work 6-8 weeks with no income. I am fairly new with my employment and have very limited leave accrued. This surgery was unexpected and has given me no time to prepare. I was trying to hold off until September so my Aflac plan will pay out and I would not be in this position. Aflac says that this is a pre existing condition since my plan started 9/2018. 

 The amount of assistance that I am asking for will cover my monthly expenses over the next few months. The doctor estimates that I will be able to return to work in 6 to 8 weeks hopefully. It will help me pay my rent, car payment, utilities, car insurance, healthcare ( my employer informed me that I will be responsible for my own health care since I will not have enough leave to cover me while I am out of the office), food and etc.  

I know that everyone is going through their own personal struggles and I certainly understand if you are not able to help financially. Please keep me and my s in your as we certainly need them. This has been the scariest thing I have had to face. I know that God will watch over me ❤️
