Openreach Charity Walk - Suicide Prevention

In Memory of Colin McHugh (ex Openreach Engineer, colleague and friend)

Openreach in Belfast are raising money in aid of West Wellbeing Suicide Prevention and every donation will help.

A shocking statistic for Northern Ireland is that suicide is the biggest killer of men under the age of 45. It doesn’t have to be this way and West Wellbeing is passionate and driven in providing critical suicide prevention care and support. Through a range of services including one to one therapy, addictions therapy, children and young peoples specific counselling, child art therapy with fully qualified psychotherapists, befriending, advocacy and family support, this charity is making a difference!

It is often a difficult and scary topic to talk about, but the more we normalise conversations about mental health and build awareness, the more we can step closer to removing the stigma and hopefully open up conversations that could truly help a friend, family member or colleague in crisis.

Thank you in advance for your contribution to this cause that means so much to me and my colleagues at Openreach!
