Operacion para Luis A. Branger

On Nov 20, 2018, my brother Luis Alejandro, a 28 years old pilot, had an air accident in the town of Purpurken Located in Southern Venezuela, while he was doing his humanitarian work of medicine intern with transporting doctors, delivering medicines and medical supplies to various isolated indigenous population.

The only one injured in this terrible accident was him; all his passengers had minor scratches and the loss of material things. When the accident happened, he needed to be transferred to a clinic but due the complicacy of the place and how to get there they needed to wait until next day to be admitted to intensive therapy in a delicate state of health.

Being at 300 feet tall losing control of the plane, he had a heavy impact with the earth causing him a close femoral neck fracture and multi-fragment shaft fracture displaced and some parts powdery with high levels of pain, edema and deformity without mobility of the leg and functional limitation of his body, presenting a pulmonary contusion of with pleural effusion on the left lung.

He was surgically intervened on November 22 to place a fourth-generation titanium nail, an intervention that lasted 10 hours; then after 2 weeks of hospitalization in the clinic, he contracted a bacterial infection and had to undergo surgery for the second time. In addition, the doctor informed us that Luis would surely require a third intervention.

Accompanying all this process, we presented the unpleasant and unexpected news that the insurance Luis had since 7 years old only covered $ 25.00 of a greater account of $15,000.  Alleging to the insurer and the broker of what happened, existed in the policy a tiny almost illegible clause that did not cover in few words aerial sinister, where we had to take various debts to pay the total of clinical expenses for the two surgical interventions, the nails to stabilize the leg and 16 days of hospitalization.

On January 18, 2019, we went to his medical review with the exams and x-rays update, where they confirmed us that he needs a third surgical intervention to place bone implants and make a traction of the femur (lengthen the leg). Because of the accident, he had lost a lot of bone mass, which makes it impossible for him to use his leg and to be able to walk again.

Due to the bone regeneration times, the surgical intervention must be carried out URGENTLY.


All the money collected in this found will be deposit in my uncle Miguel Angel Padrino ( American Citizen)  Bank of America checking account  , and he will be  responsible for transfer all the funds collected to his nephew Luis Alejandro Branger for him to paid all the expenses involve in the operation and doctors fees.


The implants are brought to Venezuela by a company called Bones Medical Instruments, C.A. and we have until February 15 to buy the grafts, the budget of these implants is $6,000.00, for the medical fees are $3,000.00 and hospitalization costs of 2 days is $ 3,000, with a total amount of $12.000.00. Unfortunately, we do not have that amount of money neither the capacity of indebtedness for the debts assumed for the payment of the first operations. That is why we see ourselves in the need and urgency of requesting help through this means so that Luis can walk again and save his leg. Eternally grateful and God Blesses.
