Generous supporters helped the Arizona Apparel Foundation get the essential manufacturing equipment and materials needed to manufacture FDA-approved PPE. We just hit a milestone of 100,000 reusable gowns, which means 1 million gowns that did not go into a landfill!
Our frontline workers in Arizona thank you!
Along with the additional equipment comes many more expenses. Right now, like many nonprofits, we are struggling to cover the general operations that keep the building moving seamlessly.
We are so proud that our garment-making technology and expertise provides both immediate and long-term security to our local medical caregivers. In doing so, we demonstrate that American enterprise is a vital solution for our future… for meeting disasters both medical and economic… and for uniting people to work together to strengthen Arizona.
The demand for PPE and local, sustainable solutions continues to grow. We need more help than ever before to keep our nonprofit operations going so we can serve that mission.
Along with our PPE manufacturing, we also accepted 3 additional recipients into our Designer in Residence Scholarship Program. This program allows emerging designers and entrepreneurs accelerated schooling to help bring their unique products to our community in a sustainable way.
