Operation Dance: Support Hurricane Helene Relief Efforts

Dance and raise funds for Hurricane Helene disaster relief in Western North Carolina!

Operation Dance is a charitable initiative by Uphora Dance Fitness to raise funds for disaster relief efforts in Western North Carolina following the devastating impact of Hurricane Helene.

Fortunately, our dance studio in West Asheville stayed intact through the storm; however, many in our community lost everything. We've set up this fundraiser to help bring relief to hurricane victims in need and restore our beautiful mountain home.

Here are some ways our wider dance community can help:

1. HOST a fundraising dance event - what better way to raise funds than by dancing? Organize a charitable Latin social, Zumbathon, dance fitness party, or dance workshop in your town and donate proceeds to Operation Dance.

We've created a media kit with stats and resources that you can easily share to build awareness and promote your fundraising event. Please contact Maui Vang, Founder & Owner of Uphora, for access to the media kit.

2. DONATE directly to this GoFundMe to support relief efforts.

3. SHARE and help us get the word out about Operation Dance to others who may want to contribute.

Use of funds: As a vested part of the Asheville community, Uphora is partnering with credible local organizations with boots on the ground that are making an immediate impact with relief efforts in WNC. From procuring and distributing much-needed supplies to performing welfare checks on missing persons, debris cleanup, and financial assistance, there is great need in every way.

We will allocate your dollars to compassionate nonprofits making the biggest difference to recover and rebuild WNC for a more resilient future.
