Operation Dog Drop - PTSD Service Dogs for Vets

Operation Dog Drop Inc is proud to present its second donation campaign. The purpose of Operation Dog Drop is simple - purchase PTSD Service Dogs for veterans in need. The realities of veteran suicides are well known, so I won't go much into it here; this Gofundme is about what we can do to help instead of rehashing well-known statistics. If you're ignorant of this travesty, here are a few facts.

In 2018 17.6 veterans took their lives daily or every 1hr and 21 mins (Source )

Fourth Quarter 2020 suicide rates increased by 25% over 2019 (Source )

Veteran suicide rates have outpaced combat deaths since Sept 11th, 2001 (Source )

Goals and where the money is going -

This fundraiser has an ambitious but attainable goal. These goals are significant, but I believe trust that we can make this goal a reality together.

PTSD Therapy Dog - Fortress K9 trains some of the finest dogs on the planet. They have been instrumental in making this fundraiser happen by offering a significant discount on their PTSD service dogs and a complete training program for a discounted price.

Round trip travel costs for the recipient from their home to the K9 fortress facility.

Hotel cost and per diem allowance for the entire length of stay.

Cash award to be used by the awardee at their discretion.
