Operation El Paso Mariachi Border Festival

Mariachi Juvenil Diamante is a community-based group in Pueblo, Colorado, of all ages. With the goal of growth in mariachi knowledge and overall musicianship, MJD looks to conferences such as the El Paso Mariachi Border Fest to allow its students to network with mariachi colleagues, learn from mariachi masters, and develop their skills as mariachis.

Since their first performance in August of 2021, Juvenil Diamante has performed all over Pueblo for both private and public events, including the Mayor's Day lunch at the Colorado State Fair, a second place victory in the Pueblo Has Talent Competition, and for the Prime Minister of South Korea during his visit to Pueblo at CS Winds. Outside of Pueblo, we have performed at Metro State Univerity in Denver for the Mariachi Colorado Youth program summer concert, the 2022 GI Forum national conference in colorado Springs, and in Albuquerque, NM for the 2022 Mariachi Spectacular competition.
