Operation: End Childhood Hunger

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is safe and sound amid this global pandemic. I am partnering [email redacted]alla (@andy.r.kuo) and @kidsfoodbasket to draw attention to an important issue in our local Grand Rapids community.  Kids’ Food Basket is a nonprofit organization that provides children across West Michigan with nourishing meals. Many of these children would not receive the food they need to reach their fullest potential without the help of Kids’ Food Basket. Providing a simple evening meal to children living at or near the poverty level is a powerful act alone. Now that in-person schooling will not continue, Kids’ Food Basket is working hard to ensure that those meals that would usually be delivered at school are still being delivered to children that need them. However,  right now they need our help more than ever, and they shouldn’t have to do this alone. We are asking for as many people as possible to help us fix the issue of childhood hunger, not because they feel forced to, but because it’s the right thing to do as a global citizen.  A child should never have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.
