OPERATION GOLD STAR FAMILIES 2023--2025

We have a dedicated committee of 10 members and we partnered with the Woody Williams Foundation. We are raising the funds necessary to establish the Gold Star Family Memorial Monument at Veterans Memorial Park in Tampa, Florida. This planned memorial provides a place of solace for reflection, healing, and remembering in Hillsborough County and the Tampa Bay Region. No one wants to be a Gold Star Mom, daughter, father or any other family member. You don't plan for it. Because, what that means is, this Family member has sacrificed a son or daughter, while They were serving in the United States Military. Its just plain tragic for a family to go through with what that means. And it lasts forever for that entire family and friends. A Gold Star Mother is one very strong advocate for the memory of their loved one. They are passionate about remembering on behalf of their entire family.

Veterans Memorial Park is hallowed ground for there are over 20 memorials established in the last 27 years. The Park is a resource for all Veterans Affairs and benefits and is a Regional Tampa Bay 'Destination'.

Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money to establish this memorial to honor our own Tampa Bay Community's Gold Star Families, the Moms, Dads, and Family members who gave this ultimate sacrifice. These sacrifices should never be forgotten. And to benefit Veterans Memorial Park Inc, and any donation will help make an impact. Any donation above $500. will be honored on granite with the memorial. There will be 2 bench spaces available as well for larger donations.
