OPERATION: HAIL MARY (Save the SLOC!)

At the end of 2023, Spectacle Lake Outdoor Club in Albion, MI will either cease to exist or will survive and thrive as a not-for-profit member-controlled conservation club.

SLOC has been in operation continuously in the State of Michigan since 1951 and we are looking to make sure that it stays in operation as a place where folks can enjoy the out-of-doors, exercise their rights protected under the Second Amendment, be part of a group that espouses personal responsibility, and that can give back to their community.

All donations received will go specifically paying for the property so the club is free and clear of any mortgage. As the club will continue as a not-for-profit, its operating budget will be limited and the lack of a mortgage payment will make operating costs far less.

Currently, any MDFI Alumni or folks who will be a member of the MDFI Alumni by May of 2024 can become a voting member/shareholder of the club. This fundraiser is for those that do not wish to/cannot become a SLOC member but wants to help save SLOC from disappearing.
