Operation- Help Kyla and Kristina- DO NOT SHARE

Hello, My name is Nicole (Kristina Glenn’s friend who used to live in WA). We been friends for over 10 years. She has been keeping me up to date on all the problems with her apartment since the roof leaked and her ceiling fell back in May.
As some of you may be aware her and little Miss Kyla are still not able to go home since their apartment is considered unlivable due to the electrical issues they encountered after the water issue, and then today she informed me she by the apartment to get Kyla a couple of her toys and her ceiling is falling again and there are water spots all over. They have only been able to stay at their apartment one day since 5/13.
Between her landlord and renters insurance company she has been treated as if her and Kyla’s home and safety are the last priority. The landlord has lied, withheld information, broken their contract, offered no compensation, failed to keep in contact with her… the list goes on and on.
She contacted an attorney yesterday and wants to hire him to send a demand letter to her landlord to negotiate a settlement to keep from filing a lawsuit. She will be asking for credit for back rent, to terminate her lease early, pay her moving expenses, reimburse her for costs she wouldn’t of had if she was able to be at home. She needs to get a new home for her and Kyla before Kyla starts school August 15th but her attorney will cost $1500 and in the state of Kansas landlords do not have to compensate attorney fees even if they lost a lawsuit.
She does not know I have put this Go Fund me together for her but I wanted to try and help in anyway I could do she can pay her attorney and hopefully get her and Kyla into a safe home as soon as possible.

I did a lot of FB stalking to figure out who to send this too outside of who I know is her family If you are unable to donate please say a prayer for her and Kyla. They have been through a lot since this all occurred. Once we reach the goal I will contact her and inform her of the Go Fund me and be sure to let her know who to Thank for the donations and prayers.

Let’s make this happen for them. Let’s help her take a big step in being able to hold the landlord financially accountable and let’s get them a new home that don’t have to worry about a ceiling falling or it catching fire due to the electrical issues.
