Operation Jewish Summer Camp

I am building a program that I call “Operation JSC.” It’s intended to bring Israeli children, whose at least one parent is an active officer in the IDF, to experience a Jewish summer camp in the US for 3-4 weeks. I’m in the process of finding a larger entity to take me under their wings hopefully before next summer, but this summer I’m running a pilot of my project. I’m bringing Nadav, a very sweet 11 year old boy whose father has served in the front lines of the IDF for over 20 years. The cost of bringing one child is approximately $4000 and I’m reaching out to some like minded people who perhaps would like to help me sponsor Nadav this summer.

Ironically I noticed by pure chance (or is it) that the name Nadav comes from the same root as the word nedava in Hebrew, which translates to donation…so do a mitzvah and donate to this amazing cause!
