Operation Rescue Surfish
Donation protected
Hi,
For those of you that don't know me my name is Scott. Kacey and Rose Brown are like family to me and mine. With the much needed winter rain and storm that just passed unfortunately along with it came major misfortune for the Brown family. Sometime in the night The Browns boat F/V Surfish broke loose from its anchor and is now on the beach with some heavy damage. While our hopes are high for the best outcome, that is yet to be seen. I'm reaching out to everyone in hopes that IF you can help with a small donation to help their family get through this difficult time, as that boat is a big source of their income, that you can do so. With the holidays approaching fast I know things may be tight financially for a lot of us so if you are unable to donate, I just ask that you can help spread this campaign and send well wishes to their family. For whatever gesture you can do I personally thank you in advance. Please share! Lets help the Browns get back on their feet financially and mentally.
Truest regards and well wishes and again thank you in advance
The Thompson Family
Update: I forgot to mention that in the process of trying to dig her out so we could attempt to float her back to sea, unfortunately, we discovered sever damage (a hole) in the starboard side of the boat and many stress lines in the glass. We do not know at this time but the boat that Kacey and Rose have poured their hearts, souls, blood, sweat and tears into COULD be a total loss. Too many factors to know at this moment. It is however going to be a long and expensive process to get her up and running again if its possible. Its been a long day and I forgot to add that.
Thank you all so much
