OPERATION SAVE CHAPO!

Meet Chapo, only 3 years old with a whole life ahead of him. What started as a small lump grew rapidly and engulfed his entire face, head, neck and chest. Multiple vets and emergency clinics turned him away as they were not equipped or qualified to take on the nature in this time sensitive emergency. Finally, he was accepted in Downers Grove hoping it’s not too late as he has now lost so much weight and strength. Sadness and pain overcame Chapo. All possible testing could not reveal the cause.  Experts worked tirelessly around the clock for days. There was significant damage and dead tissue suggesting a poisonous spider bite. Chapo lost so much tissue on the front of his neck.   Doctors will continue dailey to change sterile dressings and monitor him closely. Please help us In this journey of saving his life and road to recovery! Thank you!

Update::
Chapos 18 th appointment is tomaro to get his sutures removed!   We saved his esophagus and airways and will make a full recovery!
It has been determined it was a brown recluse bite!
