Operation Thin Blue Line 2022!!! 7th year and going strong! Being a detective in the Special Victims Bureau in Columbus, Ohio is heartbreaking in so many ways. Every single day officers see children who are abused, neglected, living in poverty and many who are going without the basic essentials. Our detectives dedicate their lives protecting the most vulnerable. Most of these children have no chance at a cheerful Christmas without our help. Operation Thin Blue Line started because a little girl asked one of our dedicated detectives for a Barbie Dream House for Christmas. Each year we have been able to purchase coats, hats, gloves, boots, clothes, toiletries and a lot of toys, including bicycles! Each gift wrapped with love so they can tear them open. Last year we were also able to provide many of the families with Bob Evans Christmas dinner. With your help we have made so many little ones happy this time of year. A few pics from OTBL 2021. Santa had COVID for the month of December 2021, so few pictures to share, but OTBL was very successful and had so many happy kids thanks to everyone working behind the scenes and Santa who started to feel good enough to make most of the deliveries himself.
