I can't believe it's been a year already since kicking off this project, working together with a village in Romania that I call family now.

Let me explain this beautiful project (and this is not to brag on me at all, but actually to ask for your support): In the past year, we've been working with some villages in the vicinity, myself coordinating, representing The Salvation Army and Rotary Club, with beneficiaries being soldiers and local communities, a truly unique and heartwarming project that I can say is my favorite, and I love coordinating. This project has been able to bridge a gap between multiple parties and goals:

Providing community work with a school in a local village and with the children who attend, focusing on boosting morale in children's education and a hopeful future, also creating positive & healthy relationships with the teachers and families;
Providing positive morale and opportunities to American troops while deployed abroad, healthy and fun activities, and creating friendships with the communities surrounding them;
Sharing cultures between Americans and Romanians, and building a relationship between the two countries and cultures.

The list can continue with how much I've seen this project blossom into what it is today, and now a priority with several organizations. This is possibly one of the greatest ways to not only help these communities and families but to also help the morale of our soldiers while deployed. Everyone involved walks away with memories they are cherishing for a lifetime and positive encouragement.
