Operation Wallacea- a conservation expedition

Hi, I’m Troy (year 12 student and former head boy of Arden) and I’ll be joining Operation Wallacea next year on an expedition to Croatia’s Krka National Park to commit to conservation work. The work I’ll be doing will include: documenting animal/plant species, surveys of habitat and monitoring of populations- and that’s just to name a few. All of which will aid our salient goal of protecting and conserving the Croatian nature as I believe that as young people, it is paramount that we become aware of the detrimental effects the environment is facing and take action against it collectively. All funds gathered will go towards the intricate costs of the expedition from cost of travel to equipment hire (such as scuba equipment for underwater animal documenting), accommodation and food.
