Operation: Yeet the Teats - Recovery Fund

Hello, everyone! For those who don't know me, my name is Courtney Bundens, and I am a nonbinary individual who has finally secured a date for top surgery after quite a long uphill fight!

 

Top surgery is a procedure primarily meant for transmen, nonbinary people, and/or those who simply do not want to keep their breasts. This surgery can cost upwards of tens of thousands of dollars depending on the surgeon, the area, and any other number of factors.

 

I am incredibly privileged to be still insured with a very good policy under my parents at the time of my surgery. While I don't have an exact number yet, and it's possible there will be some charges down the line once my case is reviewed, it seems that my insurance will cover the majority of my surgery, which is fantastic news! That said, I will be out of work for upwards of two weeks, possibly more as I recover.

 

The purpose of this fund is to provide temporary support for my time post-op. This will help me cover rent, pet supplies, post-op support items, and other such bills. Any amount is helpful and gets me through the recovery period!
