For over a decade, Operation Cover Chicago has raised money to give toys to Chicago's young people in need.

But the toy is just a start. Your donation tells a child that their narrative has changed, and that they are worthy of love and kindness

With your donation to this GoFundMe, you will be giving a toy and hope to thousands of 3 to 15 year-old children in need around the state of Illinois

In 2023, Operation Cover Chicago raised $75,000 to give away 26,582 toys. But this barely met the overwhelming demand. And with ongoing economic struggles, 2024 will need more support than ever to serve our community.

Please join the mission of Operation Cover Chicago 2024 at 9550 South Harvard Ave on December 20th at 7:00 PM.

Illinois parents continue to have to choose between safety and education, as 37% of employed members of our community are now unemployed or underemployed. Chicago Public School students has almost 9% of students are registered as homeless.

And while we know that this won’t solve the ongoing problems in our community, we are certain that for one day, thousands of children and families can experience the joy and hope the Christmas Season can bring.
