Operation Short Creek

There is small twin town community in Colorado City AZ,  and Hildale UT, that needs our help.  There are elderly women, children, and handicap individuals that are being displaced from there homes by eviction due to a property tax crisis.  

The United Effort Plan Trust is part of the religous sect called the FLDS, that oversees all financial decisions  for the homes, and the properties in the communities, because of there authority in 2005, a claim of substainted allegations of mismanagment of funds, a court assigned an fiduciary to over see the relignment of all monetary, and property recoupment.

Helpless families are now being evicted from there homes, and are being forced to leave immediately, and they  don't have outside resources for shelter, or food that they have access too.

There is a handful of  volunteers that are gathering supplies to help provide humanitarian efforts.  They have brought, food, hygiene items, clothing, sleeping bags, and tents.  There are 20 to 30 people that are being evicted daily, and they're estimating at least 600 to 1000 more within next few weeks to be displaced as well.  Because of there religious teachings, there taught not to take help from what there religion calls "apostates" because if they do it would hender there souls from going to heaven. 

We know in our world  this isn't true, but when your taught from the 1st breath of your life that this was there religion of life your not going to believe anything else.  God placed these special people in our lives, they are our brothers and sisters in christ.  They need to know that there people that care and love them and reassure them that there going to be ok. 



 Being a retired US Army Soldier, I live by an oath called Warrior Ethos,  it states, "I will always place the mission first, I will never accept defeat, I will never quit, and I will never leave a fallen comrade."  As a soldier I have to protect the American people, but I cant do it alone.
