Eight years ago I was incarcerated for heroin addiction. Today I stand as the CEO of one of the most reputable painting companies in Saint Louis. The journey was not easy… The MISSION of The Hopeless Case is to provide opportunities, support and education for women that suffer from addiction. With the opiate drug addiction at epidemic levels and costing Americans $200 billion on an annual basis, education is essential. It takes many initiatives and layers of care to confidence for women and men to fight for sobriety and long term success. The money raised will be going towards impactful practical educational experiences to raise awareness and reach a larger audience with urgency.  I'll never forget that first day there. Still to this day, years later, I can close my eyes and still see those doors, those people, those feelings and that smell that never let me forget where I was.
