Opie Strong #3798

We know a lot of people in our community have been concerned and been praying for my brother-in-law, Opie Johnson, who is currently battling a very tough illness. Unfortunately, the two recent biopsies that he had done are showing two different types of malignancies with each one requiring different treatment plans. Although it’s rare to have two different types of cancer at once, it’s not unheard of.

As we know with cancer, Opie will be in for a very long battle that will come with a financial burden as he will be taking time away from work at EMS where he’s been a paramedic for 28 years to focus on his health. Physically, the illness along with the treatment will definitely impact his ability to work.

His family, friends, and so many people in our community are wanting to help in some way possible, so we are hoping to raise enough money to help alleviate some of the upcoming financial burdens that come with fighting this disease.

Any donation made on his behalf would be greatly appreciated and will certainly assist them in paying for treatment and living expenses during this difficult time.

More importantly, Opie, NEEDS your prayers! Opie is very sick and with his profession, he’s usually the one giving the care to others, so please keep him and Robyn both in your thoughts and prayers as he goes through this tough journey.
