Optometry trip to Mexico

Hi, my name is Erica, and I am a 3rd year optometry student at Salus University! This fall my school is taking a trip to Mexico with Volunteer Optometric Services for Humanity (VOSH). I personally would love to go on this trip because I have a very strong passion for improving the quality of life, for as many people as possible, through optometry. My passion to due so is so strong, that I chose to minor in Spanish in college. I wanted to be able to communicate with, and help as many people as possible. Today, I continue to practice my Spanish as much as I can in hopes of becoming a better clinician. I am confident that this trip to Mexico to provide service to under privileged areas will not only service the community, but also strengthen my ability to speak Spanish.
