After several years of trying to conceive it has become apparent that Meaghan's eggs are very lazy indeed. They would rather stay nice and cozy (perhaps binge-watching Netflix) in the ovaries rather than make that long and arduous trip to the fallopian tubes. Not even medication can make those eggs move off the couch. That being said, if we want to see our dream of having a little Nicolaiff running around our home we have to do IVF.
As many of you know IVF can be quite costly. The costs in Ontario are approximately 10k plus the cost of medication. Unfortunately, we have been trying to save for over a year and we are still nowhere near where we need to be. We have come to the stage where we need to ask for help. If you are able to we are looking for donations of any kind. We love each and every one of you and we would be forever grateful if you could help us attain our dream of having a child. We are planning to hopefully go ahead in July if everything works out.
Government funding may or may not be happening in the future and we assure you that if you donate all your money would go directly to the cost of IVF. If funded, there will still be quite a bit that would come out of pocket. This includes medication and embryo freezing.
