Orbit the blind kitten needs surgery!
Donation protected
Hello, friends. Orbit the sweet, orange boy was born with a condition called microphthalmia, which means he is blind. Generally, kittens born with this condition do not need surgery to close their eyelids, but Orby has been having recurring eye infections pretty much ever since we adopted him. Two of our trusted vets have told us that he needs to undergo surgery for a bilateral enucleation, or to remove any eye tissue he may have, and sew up his sockets. This will prevent him from suffering from the eye infections he has had almost his entire life.
Unfortunately, this surgery is not a cheap one at $2000, and we need all the help we can get to ease this perfect boy's pain. If you could find it in your heart to donate any amount you can spare, you will be helping this little guy who was already born with enough challenges as it is.
Please, please share and donate. Thank you, all!
