After an unforgettable and very successful first edition in 2012, recorder players from all over the world will come together again in Amsterdam between 14-17 May, 2015 during the Open Recorder Days Amsterdam, organised by Stichting The Royal Wind Music.
ORDA wants to stimulate a fruitful exchange between amateurs and professionals, teachers and students, children and adults. The heart of the festival will be an international competition for amateur recorder players of all ages. Besides, ORDA-2015 offers an exciting line-up of concerts given by some of Europe's leading recorder soloists and ensembles shedding light on the broad spectrum of repertoire the recorder has to offer.
Around the competition and the concerts, visitors can actively participate in a varied programme of workshops and masterclasses, discuss their ideas in a conference for teachers or look for new instruments, sheet music and CDs in our market.
ORDA-2015 will take place at the Amsterdam Conservatoire. The building with its central location and generous facilities lies within a stone's throw from Amsterdam's historical city center.

To make all of this possible, we need your financial support. The success of our festival depends on the generosity of funds and sponsors. But even this is not enough to cover all the costs: we also need help from individual supporters who believe in the power and the value of music and want to contribute to create an unforgettable experience for hundreds of recorder lovers from all over the world. Every contribution will help us to make ORDA 2015 happen. You can give a small amount or even become a sponsor of a whole prize in the competition.
