Orford House Centenary Fund

In 2021 Orford House Social Club will celebrate its Centenary.  This will not just be a celebration of the last 100 years, but a chance to help the club last for another hundred years too. 

The club needs significant investment: the roof is in serious disrepair as the numerous leaks this year have highlighted, the boiler is nearing the end of its life and the exterior of the building needs painting.

We know members have ideas too, and have had requests to improve wheelchair access, create a safe space in the grounds for kids to play, green the front of the building and add facilities for bikes in the car park.

Therefore we are launching the Orford House Centenary Fund, through which we hope to raise £100k by the end of our Centenary Year to spend on the urgent improvements the building needs, and the priorities that members identify.

We will seek to raise this sum through a combination of national funding bodies, local partners, businesses and residents, and through our members and their friends.
