Help organise the first AnimalHuman conference

The Netherlands will see its first animal-inclusive and openly accessible conference on the 29th of September 2022 in Amsterdam. This event will stimulate academic and non-academic knowledge exchange about animal-inclusive futures and it will facilitate interdisciplinary collaborations. Various subjects, stemming from society and science, will invite attendees to start a dialogue and discuss human-animal relations.

Founded in 2021, the centre for AnimalHuman Studies stimulates the interdisciplinary field of (human)-animal studies in the Netherlands. As a non-profit we are connecting researchers, students and teachers in the Netherlands and abroad with an interest in human-animal relations. One year later we have over 700 connections with multiple backgrounds.

A team of hardworking volunteers with a passion for animals put a lot of effort in organizing our first conference. We need help covering our location, expenses for speakers and volunteers, and promotion materials. Any help is very welcome!
