Orion's Eagle Scout Project

Hi, my name is Orion Siebert and I am fundraising for my Eagle Scout Project to make 2 picnic tables and 3 planter boxes to put in Phoenix Union Bioscience High School. Bioscience High School is a STEAM-based school with around 400 students. It was agreed that the school needed additional outside seating for lunch and activities. I plan to build two 8-foot picnic tables from scratch to fill this need. They will be made out of Douglas fir kiln-dried wood. I will paint waterproofing liquid onto it so that it is waterproof and can survive outside for years to come. Another need was additional planters. They wanted planters that were stacked on top of themselves. They said they wanted the planter boxes to increase the look of the school. I found a design and now I plan to build 3 two-tier raised planter boxes (51" x 24" x 30").
