Orkney Premier Drag Show fund ️‍

Hi, 

I'm Milly! I'm 18 years old

 and I am working with Orkney Pride to bring the first Drag show to Orkney!!

Drag has been a huge part of my life for the past three years and after going to Drag Con and meeting some of the people I look up to most, I felt it was about time to bring Drag to Orkney! 

(Also because Lawrence Chaney told me to..)

Joining me with the organisation of this event are Bea Copland (Ali Express) and Kevin Johnston (Ketty Quetiapine), both bringing their event organisation expertise and an equal love for drag!

I've set up this GoFundMe as I am working on inviting established Kings and Queens from across Scotland to perform and need help covering the accommodation and some travel costs. 

I want this to be an exciting event to help raise funds for Orkney pride and our new little drag group! 

Although Orkney is small - in doing this I've met so many kind and accepting people! I want to bring a bit of joy and fun to Orkney - something different for all ages. I hope this helps unite the LGBTQ+ community here and shine light on important matters.

Now more than ever we need to celebrate Drag and we need to push to keep our voices heard.

The Family Friendly Show will be on the 16th June and the Mature Show will take place on the 17th

of June.

You may see a few familiar faces as some locals including myself will also be performing, some for the first time!

Donating to this would honestly mean the world to me - I'm fighting to make one of my dreams come true and at the moment it does feel like it is possible!
