Orla Needs Our Help!

Dear Friends and Supporters,

We, Team Orla, want to introduce you to someone very special - our dear friend, Orla Kristensen. Originally from Denmark, he’s known by his friends as “The Great Dane”. That moniker befits him not only because of his large stature, but also for his larger than life personality. Orla lights up a room with his smile.

He’s an incredibly gifted stone mason that has crafted magnificent artistic creations for his clients throughout the Bay Area for decades. He cherishes and supports his family and friends and they all know that generosity is a prominent Orla trait and never seeks anything in return. But now he needs our support due to his severe health issue.

Orla has recently faced an incredibly debilitating and challenging health crisis. He has had to undergo six surgeries over the last several weeks. This unexpected medical crisis has left Orla with an enormous emotional, physical and financial challenge that he never could have foreseen. His bills are mounting. His road to recovery will be long and uncertain. The doctors are talking about another 4-6 weeks of hospitalization and then he will be transferred to a rehab facility. Needless to say, it is estimated that he won't be able to work for months and will have no source of income to cover his day to day expenses including rent, food, utilities, etc.

That's where TEAM ORLA comes in. We are launching this GoFundMe campaign to help Orla get back on his feet. Your donation, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in relieving the financial stress Orla is currently facing. Your donations will mean so much to him and his family. Providing your assistance to lift Orla during this critical time is an opportunity for each one of us to return the kindness that Orla so freely gave to many of us.
