Orlando Girls Rock Camp, Inc.

Orlando Girls Rock Camp is a week-long day camp held during summer that offers girls, ages 8-17, the opportunity to form a band, write an original song, and perform at a local live music venue at the end of the week showcase. The girls also participate in various workshops throughout the week including screen printing, songwriting, self-defense, history of women in music, and positive body image. Our camp was without a location for three years, and thusly, our camp was not able to run. Now we are back, with a location, a devoted group of core volunteers, and a plan of action.  We know that there was so much love and support put into Rock  N’ Roll Camp for Girls, Central Florida and we want to do everything we can to honor that hard work with action and trying to reboot this amazing organization…but we can’t do it alone. 

As of 7/6/2018, we have raised $245 through Go Fund Me. 

We have a website, a location and, thanks to Guitar Center, we have some great instruments and gear to use!

Right now we are still recruiting campers (5 spots left), but we have many campers that require various levels of cost assistance.

In order for our organization to pay for insurance and food for one camper, for 5 days of camp, it costs about $350. We are aiming to raise at least $1000 to help the families of campers and our volunteers afford camp costs this year.

Please help pitch in, whether it's just a few dollars or enough for one camper's entire camp fee. 

We only have 15 days until the first day of camp. Any amount that you gift to our campaign goes directly towards helping our youth afford this great camp experience!
