Ormson Family Medical Fund

Donation protected

Kristian (36) was hospitalized with Covid pneumonia on January 22nd after a long battle with Covid since the first of the year. He is immunocompromised and suffers from asthma, so it has been an uphill battle from the beginning.

Once he was hospitalized his condition continued to worsen and he was placed in the Critical Care unit to monitor him more closely. This past week while in CCU, his left lung suddenly collapsed and the medical team had to place a large chest tube. The tube will stay in place the next couple weeks to help him breathe while his lungs heal. It was a very close call and they are counting their blessings that he did not have to go on a ventilator.

The hope at the beginning of the hospital stay was that it would only be a few days, but has now been stretched out to a further duration because of the complications Kristian has suffered. Their family has a long road ahead of them with healing and rehabilitation.

Kristian is an amazing husband to Ashley and father of their three children (9,7, &3). He is a bright light to everyone in his family and has been abundantly missed during his stay. The Ormson family has been active in their church and community and has left a beautiful stamp in the city.

His wife, Ashley is the only allowed at the hospital 30 minutes a day to be with her husband. She and their children are doing the best they can under the circumstances. Ashley has been a continual rock in both worlds for Kristian and their kids during this time. She is an amazing mom and grateful she can stay at home to help provide some consistency at this time.

"Grateful" is the motto Kris and Ashley are trying to strive for. They have continuously been thankful for the numerous prayers and outpouring support, as well as feeling appreciative for the healthcare workers' diligence. They will still need that continual support to lift them for the next undisclosed time.

At this time, Kristian has been furloughed from work and soon will be placed on short term disability. This fund is in hopes to help support the Ormson family with their medical funds and the additional costs that continue to add up.

Any donation would be humbly appreciated, if unable to donate, sharing this link and/or saying a prayer in behalf of their family would also be sincerely appreciated.
