Child welfare and orphan fund

Donation protected
Those who spend their wealth [in Allah 's way] by night and by day, secretly and publicly - they will have their reward with their Lord. And no fear will there be concerning them, nor will they grieve. (Quran 2:274)

Almost a quarter of all children are stunted from poor nutrition. Every month, 500,000 babies and young children die from preventable conditions and diseases.

This Ramadan,  I will be donating to the charity Human appeal, towards the orphan and children fund. The donation will go the the place where it is most needed, rather than a set location/country.  With our Little Human fund, you can support some of the most vulnerable children with food, warm clothes and school supplies. It is always the smallest things that matter. What we consider normal and necessities in our lives could be considered as a privilege for others.

The reason I have chosen this charity is because there are so many vulnerable children that have been abandoned, or either lost their parents due to hardships and tragedies. The closest thing to you is your family and some people are genuinely missing that. Some people are in desperate situations and in desperate need of help. This is something we can help by providing them care. If they can not get first hand help from their family, they can get it worldwide by us working together.

Around the world there are currently 140 million orphaned children. There is an enormous need to support the next generation with education and stability in order for them to be able to sustain themselves in adulthood. Every little will help change an orphaned child's life. Please donate as much as you can, the smallest amount can make a huge difference. I will be collecting the money until the end of Ramadan Inshallah. Your donation can improve many lives.

Allah (swt) describes the righteous in Paradise as being those who took care of orphans during their worldly life.

‘And they [the righteous] give food in spite of love for it to the needy, the orphan, and the captive…’ Al Insan: 8

Allah (swt) and Prophet Muhammad (saw) repeats this promise of Jannah across the Quran and Sunnah, which makes you realise the importance of taking care of orphans and children.

JazakAllah Khair, may Allah (swt) bless you all immensely.

Whoever does not show mercy to our young ones, or acknowledge the rights of our elders, is not one of us.” (Ahmad)
