ORPHANS IN POVERTY
Donation protected
We need your support to help orphans in need!!! These children are victims of the death of parent(s), failed marriages, and abandonment.
During the past three weeks, we have visited about 25 orphans living in poverty in the Pogradec area of southern Albania. It is heart- breaking to see children in this condition. They are generally clueless as to their poor circumstances and may grow up thinking there is no chance for a decent future.
We need money today to purchase the necessities of life to clothe, feed, repair that which is broken, buy a ball, a book, some electricity, glasses, fuel, a musical instrument, and the list goes on.
Your contribution will make a big difference in the life of a child and it will brighten their future. We will be extremely grateful for your kindness and generosity.
An extract from Clipper's journal, 1 June 2020, Berat, Albania.
"The living space is one crowded room. Lacking a closet, clothes are piled in a corner and covered by a sheet. Two old couches serve as beds with two quilts to keep warm. A wall separates the living area behind which is the toilet, and space to do the laundry by hand. A two year-old boy lay on one couch drinking sugar water from a baby bottle, while his four year-old brother is tending him. Their father is in prison and their mother deserted the children. Grandma Albana, in poverty herself, is caring for them. She receives about 40 USD a month from the government. I grew up in poor circumstances, but nothing like this!"
Thank you for helping us to help these orphans.
