Orphans with their need in Democratic Republic of Congo

My name is Lucy, and I am fundraising to help children who are suffering without parents. I have been using my own money to support them, but I need more assistance. I’m reaching out to everyone who can help these orphans meet their needs so they can receive food, clothing, and a joyful Christmas.

Introduction:

When I arrived in Canada, I felt a sense of relief, but my journey isn’t over. Just like the children in Bunia, my kids once faced similar struggles. I was given the chance for a better life, but that doesn’t mean I can forget my roots.

Bunia has been affected by war for a long time. Many children have lost their parents, siblings, or anyone close to them. They wander without food, shelter, or hope for education.

If we don’t take action, we risk losing a generation of future teachers, doctors, farmers, and builders who could help improve Bunia. These children feel hopeless, but we can be there to uplift them.

We’ve heard their cries of hope, their battles against starvation, and their tears when it rains, knowing they have nowhere to find shelter. Each person can make a difference in these children’s lives whether by donating clothes, contributing to shelter, or simply raising awareness.
