Ortonville 2021 Fireworks

Support the 2021 Ortonville Fireworks...Donate to Friends of AMOS!
Throughout the last year, CDC and State guidelines have changed almost daily, and once again we find ourselves in a situation where these ever-changing guidelines have shifted life.
With the State of Michigan’s recent announcement further opening outdoor activities, the Friends of AMOS, DDA, School District, Fire Department and Sheriff’s Office met once again to discuss the potential of hosting the fireworks. At this time, all signs point to “YES!!” so now we need your help. This year’s event will be fireworks only and will take place at dusk on Friday July 2, 2021 from Brandon Middle School.
As stated above, things have been changing almost daily, so if covid restrictions from the state or county cause interference to the July 2, 2021 show, our goal will be to use the funds collected for a firework’s show at a later date.
Normally, our committee and volunteers have between 2 and 3 months to raise funds for our community Fireworks and Food Trucks Festival. The fee for the fireworks display alone is $12,000. Due to the uncertainty this year, we have been unable to perform our normal fundraising activities, so we are asking the community to step up to the plate and help us fund this year’s fireworks show.
There are 3 ways to donate:
GoFundMe: Hit the "Donate Now" button to the right!
PayPal:
Check/Cash: Made payable to: Friends of AMOS, P.O.Box 84, Ortonville MI 48442
Any amount collected over the cost of this year’s display will be placed in the fireworks account and be put toward the 2022 fireworks show.
Please spread the word and help us raise funds for the 2021 show by donating and asking your friends to donate as well. You can share this fundraiser by using the "Share" button to the right.
Once again, without your help this year, we might have the green light from the state, but we won’t have the funds necessary to put on a show to celebrate our Freedom.
