Oscar Lazos Jr

Oscar Lazos Jr (63) was stricken with Acute Kidney Failure in mid- November. He is from Plains, TX. He and his wife and 3- children moved to Marble Falls in 2001. Over the past 8- weeks, he and Mrs. Lazos have stayed in the hospital 28- nights on 3- different admissions. They were in the hospital for Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Currently, Oscar undergoes dialysis 3 times a week. He needs to have an infusion of Rituxan to fight the attack on his kidneys. It is scheduled for January 30. Pray this medication works to its fullest capability. Rebecca (Becky) Lazos has taught in Marble Falls for nearly 22- years after teaching in Sarasota, FL for 9- years. Many of you had Mrs. Lazos as your teacher or a child of yours did. She considers all of us as her kids. She teaches with a heart that is always helping us realize our greatest potential. At this time, she has taken a leave of absence from school to care for her husband, make sure he can get to all medical appointments, and has assistance with activities of daily living. The money raised will help pay for medical costs and needed equipment not covered by Medicare. In addition, we want to help our teacher with things around the house that she nor Mr. Lazos can do at this time. All funds raised will be donated to Mr. And Mrs. Lazos.
