Oscar Rosa Memorial Fund

On Friday, June 26, 2020, the Rosa family suffered a heartbreaking loss. Oscar Rosa unfortunately passed away after battling COVID-19 for only two weeks. This is an especially hard time for his family and friends. As we grieve, we keep in mind that although Oscar may be gone, he will never be forgotten.
Oscar leaves us with many lasting and cheerful memories. Not only was he a son, a brother, and dear friend; he was a mentor, teammate, and coach. He was loved by many. Among others, he was loved by his debate teammates and friends. An Elizabeth Learning Center Class of 2013 alum, he debated for the ELC Debate Team his four years of high-school, and went on to study at Cal State Fullerton and joined their Forensics Team where he was able to travel and make memories with dear friends. After graduating, he returned to ELC to help coach debate and teach our team everything we know. Both students and teachers at ELC who were able to meet Oscar learned so much from him. He always listened and provided the best advice anyone could hope for. He always enjoyed a good laugh with his friends, and we thank him for the many he gave us.
It will take some time for us to learn to cope with this heartache and grief. Our hope is that we can honor and remember the pure joy that Oscar brought to us and the lives of many.
With a heavy heart, we ask for your support to aid in the final send-off for our Oscar Rosa. We know that nothing will take away a pain as deep as this one, but we do not want the Rosa family to focus on financial burdens. Anything counts, and anything will help. All donations will go to his family.
