Oscar Smitherman

An innocuous looking challenge at home against Hollands and Blair Reserves on Saturday 11th December could potentially have a significant impact on Lordswood FC Reserves' Captain Oscar Smitherman. Although concerned, it did not appear that Oscar had suffered a serious injury, but an X-Ray later revealed that not only has Oscar broken a bone in his lower leg, but will also need some emergency constructive surgery on his lower leg.
Obviously this means that he will be sidelined for a significant amount of time, but the impact this could have on Oscar's work is serious too, as our captain is employed as a PE teacher at a local secondary school.
We understand that this is going to be a time of significant personal challenge for Oscar, so we are looking to support him in as many ways that we can, so a supporting fund will allow us to achieve that.
