Mission Statement:
Oscar's Foundation dba Oscars Animal Rescue & Facilitation is a charitable organization operating as a facilitator for the welfare, protection, & benefit of animals in need requiring placement with foster/permanent families in a safe & loving environment. We operate with donations in accomplishing our goals. Our ongoing mission is to reach animal lovers worldwide compassionate to our cause of saving as large a number as possible of stray & neglected animals caused by abuse, extreme weather conditions due to climate change, overpopulation, & numerous other factors. We will do what it takes to save animals in need. We function primarily to financially support our charitable work through our numerous public programs. The Foundation is continually evolving with various public programs in order to do the most good for the welfare and protection of animals in need; along with evolution comes change, with recent changes proving extremely beneficial...

The success we have achieved over the past 18 months in benefiting animals in need, as well as individuals in need of Emotional Support Dogs is a living testament to the importance of our work. The Foundation was formed out of love & concern for animals in need. Qualified individuals with anxiety/depression will greatly benefit with their own Emotional Support Dog matched and presented to be their permanent full time companion in helping them deal with this chronic illness (at no cost to them); the Director's dog, Oscar, is his full time Emotional Support Dog & without him, would have a difficult time dealing with his own illness. Lastly, there is a severe problem with overpopulation of stray & neglected animals, in addition to animals needing to be re-homed by their current caregivers for a variety of reasons and the Foundation's current programs address these concerns & have proven successful in providing safe & loving environments for dozens of animals to date.

The first two photos above are of Oscar, rescued 13 years ago as a puppy & is a loving family member. He runs our home & is rewarded with plenty of love, hugs, kisses, & dog biscuits; he has also been known to enjoy a pancake or two on Saturday mornings. The last photo is of a stray dog we rescued in the woods and are currently caring for pending placement with a permanent family building their forever home in the country on an acreage perfect for this beautiful girl.
