Oska Stratfull

Thank you to you all. I am totally overwhelmed at your generosity. 

I have upped the amount so that we can have a bigger memorial for Oska. Let’s try this! 

I am Sarah, Oskas mum.

The time has come to remember my beautiful son.

I would like to be able to create a special place for everyone that knew Oska to go to in a place that he liked to go to.

Oska would often go and sit up at Heartbreak Hill at Ampthill Park. So I thought that this would be the best place to start.

Oska and his friends would sit at the top of the hill and would look down at the view. He would have seen all the trees and the wonderful view.

I have the opportunity to have a fallen oak tree sculptured as a memorial to him. This is situated in Ampthill Park just below Heartbreak hill, where he used to sit. He would have seen this tree in full glory as it only shed the branch in February 2022. A piece of nature that has been growing for decades to be carved to remember Oska. It will have all sorts of details on such as the stars that I look up too, to remind me of him and the Sunflowers that remind me to keep going.

This is very important to his sisters and I and I'm sure it is important for you to be able to go and just remember the things that you all know about him, his character, his humour, his hair colours and all the things you did together.

To be able to sit quietly, to remember or to just laugh at the crazy things you all did together.

As I am sure you are aware, times are really hard with the cost of living increasing and I am unable to fund this all myself. I am asking for people to donate even the smallest amount towards his sculpture of remembrance.
